BUILDING SERVICES

The sanitary facilities have been planned in order to be used by children in the age of 0-6. Additionally a lavatory for handicapped persons has been installed. A gas-fired boiler is used for the heating and water heating. Each room is heated via an underfloor heating. Several rooms (e.g. the foyer and the building services room) are equipped with local heating areas. The room temperature can be regulated via thermostats in each room. A central water supply station is installed for heated water. The heat supply is realized via a solar thermal system and a gas-fired boiler. The light switching is realized in groups room by room via serial and multi way connections and respectively via presence and contact switches e.g. for the staircase and foyer areas. The building is equipped with a regulation for the external blinds. A barrier-free entrance to the upper levels is realized via a passenger lift.
The cables run in on wall PVC pipes, cable channels or trays in the technical building services rooms. Switches and plug sockets are on-wall devices in a standard colour RAL 9010 – grey, degree of protection IP 44.
In all other rooms the installation is realized concealed. The installation devices are built-in units with rounded angles according to the client’s choice.
In rooms having suspended ceilings the wiring and line routes run in those.
