Golfbad-Sauna Chemnitz

"Smaller but nicer" - this is the best way to define demands to this building project in comparison with the highly constructed fun- and water parks. On the terrain of the traditional "Golfbadsauna", in the heart of the recreation area Chemnitz - Rabenstein a Wellness- and Sauna area was greated on a generous, natural ground with the claims of a Health center. As a result, our architects rely on the historic sauna main building, which was completely remodeled, reconstructed and complemented with an extension. In cooperation with the landscape architects, a natural near building complex which is concentrated on the materials, wood, natural stones and water was built. Inside the building an atmosphere, based on recovery and relaxation with special minerals awaits the guests. A finish sauna, a Tempidarium (Bio- / light sauna) as well as an earth sauna, which is integrated in the outdoor area created. A whirlpool as well as an all-year usable and heated outer basin rounds the sauna offer off. After the sauna session there is a cozy fire-place room with bar area or rather rest- and massage rooms.
