Static changes in the building structures were necessary for the redesign of the existing 5-storey residential block, block type construction, which was built in the 60s to create new and individual floor plans. It was necessary to arrange extensive openings in the structural walls. Openings in the floors were essential for the even leveled showers and for building-technical installations. To create a barrier-free development of the building, massive new elevator shafts on every entry of the building were added. Large-scale steel frame constructions in structural walls of the ground floor were constructed to create spatial areas i.e. the service area of the Workers Samaritan Federation and cafeteria. A general corridor connected with all building entrances was realized along through the building.
