ARCHITECTURE / OBJECT PLANNING OF BUILDING

A extension building has been constructed for the municipal primary school in the centre of the municipality including a library, classrooms / preparation rooms, canteen and multipurpose rooms including kitchen, a club room as well as several secondary rooms.
The existing school building has been restored and modernized totally in the years 2005/2006. Amongst other things this included the construction of an extension building, a escaping and rescue stair, a lift as well as the total modernization of the fire protection systems in compliance with effective guidelines and regulations.
The extension building was constructed at the neighbouring site and has a direct connection to the existing school building.  
The extension building consisting of three levels and being connected directly to the available building at the upper level (gable sided) is added to the existing building structure in a considerate manner.
The new structure integrates itself in the surroundings with its cubing and layout, but presents itself as a building part in an own, modern design.
