Design for construction, mining and environment

The entire project, consisting of the 3-storey furniture market and a single-storey high bay warehouse, was completely constructed as a precast construction. Due to the terrain situation and the high bay warehouse vertically offset moved to one floor (access to high-bay warehouse is located on the 1st Floor of the furniture market), extensive retaining structures between furniture market and high-bay warehouse and the adjoining neighbour's property were necessary. The establishment of the support foundations on granular columns was carried out partly because of the poor subsoil conditions.

Furniture market

As a structural design, clamped reinforced concrete columns in sleeve foundation were provided. The prefabricated floors (prestressed concrete hollow floor) are located on prefabricated beams between columns.
The roof span is 8.25m.
The column grid is 8.25m x 10.5m.

High bay warehouse

As supporting structure, prestressed concrete binder on clamped reinforced concrete columns in sleeve foundation, were implemented. The span of the binder is 24.75m.
The column grid is 9.05m x 24.75m.
