ARCHITECTURE / OBJECT PLANNING OF BUILDING

On behalf of the deaconry Flöha, a new senior citizen centre for 48 persons in need of care including the corresponding common rooms, administrative offices, event locations, therapy and sanitary facilities as well as the technical premises has been established by C&E which also realised the new construction of the kindergarten „Triangel“. The building with 3 storeys is barrier-free accessible. The inner exploitation of all floors is realised by a passenger elevator. The elevator car has a wheelchair accessible size and facilitates the transport of a stretcher. All public areas are located on the ground floor, which is divided into two parts: on the one administrative offices and event locations and on the other hand operational as well as technical premises. The multipurpose room can be split in order to respond flexibly to the different utilisations. It can be used as relaxation or prayer room but is also available for celebrations of the residents and the public. The resident’s rooms, which are grouped into living groups, are located in both upper floors. A nurses’ room is optimally located at the peak of two living groups.
