OBJECT PLANNING OF BUILDING

The renovation of the Georg-Götz-Special School for hearing impaired children included classrooms and laboratories, therapeutic areas, school library, computer workstations, after-school care club, staff and janitor room, areas for lunch and breaks, sanitary facilities accessible to disabled people and meeting the latest technological standards.Moreover, the sanitary facilities were renovated; roof and frontage, windows and doors were professionally reconstructed according to newest energy efficiency standards.

Since the implementation of the project was realised during term, all sound-intensive works executed during holidays as well as the time outside school hours.

The front of the building received a thermal insulation system. In the course of the dehumidification the building was provided with a new drainage, a new earthing system for lightning protection as well as perimeter insulation at the outer basement walls.
