STRUCTUAL ENGINEERING

Joining three parts of a building - historical city hall, extension from the 1930s and new building including an entrance hall - with difficult building ground conditions was the special challenge for our stress analysts and technical designers with this project. The creation of barrier-free buildings, also within the old building by installation of an elevator etc. became only possible by close co-operation between owner, architects and stress analysts. Further additional expenditures for building-technical and constructional fire protection became cost-neutrally through a statically optimized new part of the building.
