BUILDING SERVICE - Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing

The equipment of the gastronomy area was planned with usage of the central supply system of the building. In addition the design of he guest rooms, especially the layout of the suspended ceilings and the installation of the building service parts and the lighting in the ceilings acted a central part.

The heating of the guest room in "Cafe Michaelis" is implemented with floor heating. Also a external air curtain system was installed in the suspendet ceiilng. Furthermore the complete area is ventilated with an area by area switchable air conditioning. To compensate the open construction (fire protection requirement) a sprinkler system was installed. The building technology is designed for all requirements of the utilisation in a kitchen, like separate drainage (including a fat separator), central water treatment as well as a special ventilation. Sanitary facilities (including a lavatory for handicapped) were also included in the water treatment.

A second gastronomical area is used for a Sushi Bar. An open kitchen inside the guest room provides another special task for ventilation and exhaust air. Also heating takes place with the ventilation system. The kitchen got a separated drainage including fat separator. Sanitary facilities were designed corresponding to the ideas of the client.
