Start of construction works of the future school site of Dresden-Pieschen
The construction works at the future school site of Dresden-Pieschen have now begun. From February 2017, the first construction companies will start clearing the construction site. In addition to the dismantling of the old floodlights of the former freight depot, the abolition and professional disposal of the partly contaminated soil material is carried out as well. In March the excavation works will begin and in April the structural works start.
A school complex for the 145th Secondary School and the Highschool of Pieschen is being built at the Gehestraße / Erfurtstraße site including two new sports halls, as well as corresponding break rooms and sports facilities. The total cost of the project is around EUR 74.8 million.
After successful participation in the interdisciplinary realization competition in the context of a European-wide VOF procedure for the development of the school location Dresden-Pieschen the consortium, including the companies ppp architekten gmbh, C&E Consulting und Engineering GmbH and ibb Ingenieurbüro Bauwesen GmbH Chemnitz, received the design assignment.
The architects and engineers of C&E Consulting und Engineering GmbH are working thoroughly on drafting documentation and the preparation of the building.
